You’re doing what?!
That’s write my friends, I’m righting some things about Francis Scott Key! As many of you know, I’ve been on a year long quest to discover and learn about the whole Key family. It has taken me to museums and cemeteries, old houses, patches of grass, and deep into the heart of Washington DC. When everyone else was trying to remember to write 2017 after New Years Day, I was trying to remember not to write 1859. I’ve been lost in the nineteenth century during parts of this year and between Rose Hill Manor and Terra Rubra, I proudly announce that I can now churn you some butter. I have fallen in love…with a family, with history, and with a story. The story I am going to tell is fact combined with fiction and by the time I was finished writing it, the line was so blurred and the possibilities so incredibly real that I have at times felt like the story was being told to me, not by me. It’s become my life’s mission to write, to tell, to solve. I hope you will love it as much as I do. Now back to searching for a publisher, wish me luck!
